ABOUT
Judge Cannata graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1979. He received a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree with honors from South Texas College of Law in 1983. Judge Cannata practiced law for 23 years prior to taking the bench as Justice of the Peace Precinct 3, Fort Bend County in December of 2006. He served the citizens of Fort Bend County well by providing an efficient and convenient forum to resolve alleged Class C Misdemeanor violations as well as civil matters including debt claims, eviction and related landlord tenant disputes, as well as small claims cases.
