Cliff Vacek – R

Cliff Vacek is a Fort Bend County native, born in Sugar Land, and has planted his roots in the community since childhood. He graduated from Needville High School, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas and the University of Houston. Following college, Vacek served his country in the Texas Army National Guard. When he completed his active duty, he returned to his alma mater, Needville High, and taught for two years.

Brian Middleton was born in Houston, Texas. He is married to Coretta Middleton and has three children. He is a 1990 graduate of Lamar High School in Houston, Texas. Mr. Middleton received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Houston in 1994. Mr. Middleton graduated from Thurgood Marshall School of Law with honors in 1997 and was licensed to practice law the same year

Born December 9, 1962 in Madigan Army Medical Center – Fort Lewis, Washington State Following his service in the Army, Pete’s father earned a PhD in paper chemistry and began a career with Champion International. After various moves, the Olson family settled in Seabrook, Texas in 1972.

Sri Preston Kulkarni – D

Sri Preston Kulkarni is a proven leader who has been serving his family, community, and country for his entire life. Growing up, he saw the inequities between the lower income communities where he lived and the affluent neighborhood where he was bused to school, and decided to become involved in public service. At age 15, he took on responsibility for coordinating volunteer service across schools in Ft. Bend and Harris Counties. When Sri was 18, his father Venkatesh contracted leukemia and Sri dropped out of college to care for him. After Sri’s mother became a widow, he split his time between helping her raise his younger siblings and finishing his studies at the University of Texas, where he graduated from the Plan II Honors program.
